ANN TUBRE, LOTRLicensed Occupational Therapist

Ann Tubre is licensed in Louisiana and Nationally Board Certified in Occupational Therapy with 30+ years experience. She is an active member of both the AOTA and LOTA.

She has worked in a variety of settings including Early Intervention Programs: Home & Centered Base; school systems: public & private; Home Health, wheelchair assessments and home modifications.  She was fundamental in establishing a rehab unit in West Monroe, and also traveled to provide services to locations in geriatric facilities and settings. 

In private practice since 2006, Ann is certified in administration of the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test, advanced training in the Therapeutic Listening Program, oral-motor, sensory and feeding issues with extensive training in sensory processing disorders. She is in the program to become a Certified MNRI Core Specialists and is at training level 3. 

MNRI is Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration, which focuses on the concept of activation of a sensory or proprioceptive stimulus for the foundational reflex patterns where all emotion, behavior and movement patterns are developed.  This program was founded and developed by Dr. Svetlana Masgutova a Russian psychologist, now in Orlando, FL. Ann has attended and trained under Dr. Masgutova for several classes and conferences.  

Ann has also achieved her Yoga 200 hour Teacher Certification with emphasis on teaching children with learning challenges.  Ann has a strong faith and passion for children to grow, learn, and become independent to their fullest potential, through active and fun approaches as a team player with, family, teachers and therapists.
